As we approach the end of the school year we ask families to please bring balances current. It is important for our school to keep up on this at the end of the year.
If you have questions or need help please reach out. This includes lunch balances and registration fees. We work hard to provide meals and experiences for all students regardless of families financial backgrounds.

Saturday May 11th we will hold a Jr High Dance from 7:00-9:00 pm.
The dance is for students in grades 6-8 and attend Greenview Jr High. Students cannot bring guests from other schools.
This will be a great time for the students as we wrap up the year!

We are looking for some GREAT people to join our team! Please help us spread the word!

Tomorrow Friday April 26th we will have a free food pick up from 9:00 am-10:30 behind school 1st come 1st serve. The Central Illinois Foodbank has generously given us chicken, milk, eggs, watermelon, apples and potatoes to pass out to families.
When we run out unfortunately we won't get more until a future delivery but please understand we are trying to help the most folks we can. This afternoon at the IESA awards program in Bloomington, Greenview Jr High was awarded the 2023-2024 Sportsmanship Award for our region! This is a terrific honor for our teams and student athletes!

Congratulations to our GHS FFA Section 14 Ag Buisness contest champions! This is the 2nd year in a row we have won! The FFA will move on to the State contest May 1st! Great job, we are proud of you!

Congratulations to our April Student of the Month, Aubry DeLay!
There will be a brief Jr High Boys Basketball meeting tomorrow morning at 8:00 am in the library with Coach Curry. This will be for boys in grades 4-7 that will be on next years team.
On Monday, April 8th it will be a historic day in Illinois with the Eclipse taking place at approximately 2:00 pm! Our students and staff will head to the track and playground area to view this great celestial event as this will be an extremely rare opportunity!
We plan to head outside at about 1:30 pm. We have been given safety glasses for everyone to wear during the solar event and want all to have a memorable day! Mrs Morris our Jr/Sr High science teacher has created a great presentation for students they will view before heading outdoors!
Community members are welcome to join us we ask you please check in before you come out to the viewing area! This will be a fantastic day in Bulldog Country!

Our tree planting project for tomorrow will be postponed until 3:00 pm as the weather will not be better until later in the day.
FFA members available are encouraged to come and help as well as high school students who may need community service hours. We will meet at the west side of school.
We thank Menard County Soil & Water our 4H program for planting these wonderful oak trees!

The school play is coming! When ”Big Bob” Little dies, Bob leaves his entire $36 million fortune to his cat, Wiggles. There’s just one condition. The family must hire a pet psychic. Enter a pair of purr-suasive cons who claim to be the world’s foremost pet psychics. Not to let the cat out of the bag, but it’s really an elaborate ruse to steal the kitty’s diamond-studded toys. But when the crooked cat burglars learn that Wiggles needs a will of her own, they hatch a plan to have it all — The Purrfect Crime!

Tomorrow is a big day around Greenview! The Illini play Iowas State and our favorite MLB teams all start another season of baseball! Tomorrow students and staff can wear gear from their favorite teams and wear hats as long as they are not disrupting! Let's have a great fun day as we head to Spring Break!




Tomorrow is picture day for clubs, organizations, JH volleyball, JH track and HS track! Please remember to send students with needed uniforms or gear!

Tomorrow will be a fun day at school! We will show the NCAA tournament games at lunch and event the students always enjoy! Students can wear their Illini gear or favorite teams gear tomorrow! Always fun watching March Madness!
