The home high school boys basketball game tomorrow Saturday January 18th is postponed as Mt Pulaski team is battling some sickness. We will send out update when we know more.
Tomorrow Friday January 17th school dismisses at 11:30 for a school improvement day.
Monday, January 20th there is no school in observance of Martin Luther King day.
Tomorrow night there will be a Friday Night jr high basketball game vs Hopedale Christian. There will be no admission cost tomorrow night and there will be a half court shot contest during the 8th grade game! Come out and cheer on the Bulldogs!
As we start another great week of school with our Bulldogs this is a nice reminder to all work together to keep our Bulldogs healthy!
This time of year all kinds of illness gets spread around the region. Please be mindful if students have a fever they should remain at home until fever free for 24 hours.
Please encourage students to eat the best they can and get a good nights rest!
If students need a warm coat, winter hats or gloves pease do not hesitate to ask we will help to get them some. We have been pretty happy seeing our Bulldogs bundled up well since we have returned to school.

This evenings high school basketball game at Hopedale will be rescheduled to another date.
There will be no practices at school this afternoon or evening.

All buses are out on morning routes they may be slightly behind schedule due to road conditions. Please take your time getting to school this morning.
Tomorrow Friday January 10th students in grades K-5 will be able to go to outdoor recess if they have appropriate snow gear!
Please send along warm outdoor clothes if possible! These are always some of the more fun times the kids have at recess every year. Students that do not want to head out will still be able to stay warm and cozy in the gym 😀

We plan to be in session tomorrow! We will check the roads again in the morning but as of this evening we are good to open. We may be moving a bit slower but we will take our time and be as safe as possible! A BIG Bulldog thank you to the road crews for battling this big snow storm.
Remember for student drop off please enter at the west entrance and drop students at the elementary doors. Please follow this line and do not get out early as the parking lot could be slick. Please use caution and be watchful for students that walk to school.
We are excited for the students to come back and get the new year started!

Monday, January 6th Greenview CUSD #200 will be using a Snow Day! The last day of student attendance will now be May 29th! Stay safe and warm!

Thursday Night is 8th grade night for our cheer squad and boys basketball team! It is also the last home game before Christmas Break! We have a special guest coming to the game- SANTA! A few fun things are planned:
Wear Christmas or Holliday gear and you will have no admission cost to the game!
The Bulldog will be here along with Santa if you'd like to get a photo with them 😀
We will have a special shot at half time of the 8th grade game all in attendance can register to take part in. We have some great prizes set up for the winners!
We will have cake and refreshments after the game to honor the 8th graders!
We look forward to a fun night at the game!

Tonight's JH Basketball game with South Pekin starting at 5:00PM has been cancelled.
As of now this evenings game vs South Pekin is still on. The game will start at 5:00 here at Greenview
A GREAT evening for the Greenview FFA! The dairy foods team traveled to Petersburg for the Section 14 dairy foods contest. The Jr High team won 1st Place!!! The High school finished in 7th place!!! Both teams did an excellent job tonight representing the Greenview FFA! Keep up the great work!!!
